Version 2.0

  • Basic CRM - Another challenge for consultants is having a contact information associated with clients so the clients information can be easily found. This is meant to be a simple tool that sales people and consultants can use to manage custome relations. Long term the goal is to expand it into a tool that can be used for for sales force management.

Version 3.0

  • Shared Calendaring - One of the challenges in running a consulting firm is having readily available the calendar of each consultant. Our goal with this is to be able to provide calendaring for each consultant that can be shared across the organization. What makes this different from other calendaring applications is the ability to make task deadlines show up in the calendar along with a condensed list of current tasks. Another major difference would be the inclusion of a master calendar that shows a composite of each consultants calendar in one view.

Version 4.0

  • Project Management Tools - It would be nice to provide an interface for project managers. The interface would provide tools for project planning, project status, and other reporting tools that project managers would find spiffy.

Version 5.0

  • Knowledge Repository - Another major problem for consulting firms is sharing knowledge between consultants. This way one consultant can pick up where the previous consultant left off. It would be nice if we could build a way to capture general client and project knowledge ( for n + 1, it would be information on IP Addresses for machines, account information, any architectural documents, special processes set up on a system, etc) in some hierarchical format. - This will probably be a Wiki plugin -
